South Central College offers two classes for Boiler operations. We offer a 45-Hour Low Pressure Steam Boiler class, along with a 45-Hour Prep for Special Boiler License course. Information on current course offerings is included .pdf format on the right.

Stationary Steam Engineering

This course is designed for engineers looking to advance primarily in low pressure licensing with applicability to high pressure licensing. The participant must have a "special license" and one year of work experience prior to taking the Low Pressure State Boiler Examination.

Prep for Special Boiler License

This course is an introduction to stationary steam engineering designed to prepare the participant for the "special boiler" license exam.
